St. Stephen’s Episcopal School  Comprehensive master plan for 400-acre campus in the Hill Country west of Austin.

Episcopal School of Acadiana  Secondary school serving approximately 600 students in grades six through twelve on a 100-acre campus, formerly a sugar plantation in Lafayette, Louisiana.

Camp Allen Conference Center  Episcopal summer youth camp and conference center located on an 800-acre site in the East Texas Piney Woods near Navasota.


Topfer Theatre at Zach Scott Streetscape improvements connect the site to the city and rain gardens treat the first inch of rainfall runoff from parking lots & building just south of downtown Austin.

Goliad County Courthouse Square Goliad  Restoration of historic Courthouse Square to serve as a modern town commons.

Various projects at St. Stephen’s Episcopal School Site-specific design services and construction observation for more than a dozen projects over the past 20 years, including:

Temple Dining Hall & Booth Student Center  A center for student life both inside and out, the dining facility captures phenomenal views of the Texas Hill Country
Dell Pedestrian Green Extensive pedestrian way replaces an obsolete drop-off in the center of campus and serves as a model of green infrastructure
TLL Temple Upper School Complex A series of courtyards provide outdoor spaces, drainage, and connections at multiple levels on this 14-classroom complex
Wycliff-Quinn House Dormitory for 120 students and 10 faculty units, the central community park is an active meeting ground for families and joins the day and boarding communities
Brewster Memorial  A quiet campus green connecting 50-year old Memorial to the Chapel is popular for quiet study & reflection, reunion gatherings and weddings.
Tennis Center 14 courts are arranged on naturally occurring terraces with limestone seat walls built into the hillside for viewing
Meredith Soccer Field The conversion of a former septic irrigation field into a tournament-level soccer field for use by the school and city clubs
Moody Walk The conversion of an eroded hillside into a pedestrian corridor featuring featuring indigenous limestone and native species

Methuen Comprenensive Grammar School  Building and facilities for 1200 students were designed around the wetlands located on over half the site near Boston*

Greylock Quad at Williams College  Site restoration of a residential quadrangle on picturesque New England campus *

South Congress Avenue Streetscape Improvements support increased pedestrian activity in Austin’s SoCo District south of downtown.  
2nd Street District Streetscape Improvement Project  As local consultant to CWDG, Boston, provided final design and construction documents for pedestrian-dominated 2nd Street to support emerging retail and cultural district along 7 blocks downtown.  
Central Artery / Third Harbor Tunnel Project As project Landscape Architect with Carol R. Johnson & Associates in Boston, Joan Hyde developed landscape designs for a new entrance to Logan Airport, a community park in East Boston, and streetscapes along new downtown Boston boulevards.
